Our Events
Embodiment Rope Space is predominantly an educational space, aimed at promoting skillful tying between consenting adults. We host the following kinds of events:
Jams
- Taster Jams: aimed at absolute beginners, these jams introduce you to the art of bondage.
- Queer Jams: mixed-level jams for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Intermediate Jams: jams suitable for those who have attended our introductory Bondage Basics course. Not absolute beginner-friendly.
- Open Jams: mixed-level jams open to beginners and intermediates. We often use these jams to explore themes such as neurodivergence, tying with flowers, bottoming for rope, etc.
Workshops
- Bondage Basics: a bimonthly workshop on the fundamentals of rope bondage, safety, communication and negotiation. A prerequisite for both tops and bottoms for attendance of the intermediate jams.
- Ad-hoc Workshops: pop-up workshops that are organised on occasion. Both local and international presenters have taught the following topics at Embodiment:
- Connective floorwork
- Introduction to Suspension
- Introduction to Kanna style
- Introduction to Kinoko style
- Introduction to Dominance
- Rope for Meditation
